Ashanti Shequoiya was Douglas is famously known as Ashanti. Ashanti was birthed 13 October 1980, on the shores of Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actress. Her talent was first noticed as a teen. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. Ashanti appeared the same day as Fat Joe's What's Luv? song as well as Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both of them became massive hits. She became the first female artist to have the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one and the track What's Luv? She became the first female artist to have the highest two positions on the The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States, with Foolish at number one, and then What's Love? Ashanti Shequoiya, better known as Ashanti, is a New Yorker who was born in Glen Cove, New York on the 13th of the 13th of October in 1980. Tina Douglas is the mother of Ashanti, and Ken Kaide Douglas serves as the father. She is Kenashia's younger sister. She is the oldest. Aitch sampled Rock wit U in his Baby on the 10th of March 2022 song.
