Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles performed in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". While in university Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV, his roles on small screens were what earned him recognition. He can play both characters from the side of the police as well as the different. This is the reason that is what makes him so famous. He portrayed the role of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to take on the role as an NYPD detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performances. One of his most distinctive facial features is said to have been the piercing blue eyes which have helped him portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
